Biography
Nicola McNamara
Nicola achieved top honours amongst her peers at Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology, but more importantly, achieves top results with, and for, her clients everyday.
She has a depth of experience and appreciation for the complexities of psychoanalytic and existential psychotherapy as well as mindfulness as a treatment for depression. Her talent is in translating that depth of theoretical knowledge in order to challenge her clients and help them learn, grow and succeed.
As an Accredited Mediator, Nicola facilitates the resolution of conflict in family matters, between divorcing couples, disputes in co-parenting as well as in commercial and employment settings.
Using all of her training which includes NLP, Mindfulness, Mediation and Integrative Psychotherapy, Nicola adapts her treatment to suit her clients needs and narratives.
Nicola has had a wide-ranging practice for many years – for the NHS, in the charitable sector and privately. She sees both individual clients and couples (including same sex relationships).
